Or procrastinators. I'd been sorta dissatisfied with my old LWSS avatar for a while, and only now got around to finding a new one. :p

-blink-
You...it....but....
It's like you ripped off your face and replaced it with a seagull! :(
I guess it's not that bad. I don't know if it fits you 100% though. P:

@nemo:
Actually, I recognize you when I'm prowling around the forum.
So much for anonymity. :p
Is that even a word? >> Whatever, it is now.

That's a good thing... :phear:
Perhaps it is...means I can't be judged or pinpointed, at least. Tee-hee!

I'm glad and sad to hear that! Glad that I'm recognised, yet sad that I can be seen. I've always wanted to be invisible. :ninjahide:

What conformists; someone mentions avatar change and everyone jumps to throw on something different.

I would find something new too, if I weren't being so lazy...

Therein lies the paradox: in order to be nonconformist on an INTP forum, you must be a conformist, because everyone is determined to retain individuality. Or something. I'm not changing mine (except maybe for the contests), until I finally get my computer back and either a scanner or a digital camera. My next avatar will be my own work.

Then I'll change them over and over and over and over as I do new stuff. :D

Well, I got a new avatar. I think this one fits a little better. :)

I think its great :D Not because I think it fits you to a T, but because it forces me subconsciously to view what you say in a slightly different way. Sometimes that's uncomfortable, but it would be the same if any of us met in person.

It reminds me of the Zensunni of Dune talking about "shocking the mind" into hyperawareness. Introduce a new perspective and it compels the mind to pay attention to details it had long ago taken for granted.

Oh, and my subconscious apparently thinks the seagull is appropriate for you. It looks like its a zoomed in view of the sky in a painting and it seems to speak of attention to detail and the pursuit of that which doesn't yet exist.

I think as INTPs we become gun shy about "making a name for ourselves" because we see how that name is inevitably misjudged. Others view of us is colored by random events and miscommunications that we have no control over. I would urge you, however, to push past that feeling here. You can always count on an INTP community to be willing to reserve judgment or allow for the low quality of evidence when confronted with something that doesn't match our off the cuff analysis.

P.S. I'm a fan of your avatar :p

My avatar changes, but it's always me. I mean the real me, visually at least.

What's the big deal with changes? Aren't we chameleon-like in some respects? Might just be a manifestation of that facet of our condition. Oh, wait, of our personality. I keep forgetting it's not a disease.
