I'm making this thread to celebrate entering my fourth and most certainly LAST quarter. So ask me any question you'd like and we'll see what happens ... before the quarter ends.

The purpose of this thread is so you may avail yourself of everything from the deep wisdom of my vast experience to the obvious stupidity of a senile ignert ol' fool.

I rarely visit Long Island and that's only on weekends. I'd suggest calling the chamber of commerce in local towns and asking for the nearest vocational counseling office. Take a vocational counseling test (try Google) to see which jobs you might favor.

I often find it hard to locate the post if someone responds to me so I assume they may not see my response post to them either. If I put @crippli it shows up a reference count in your upper right hand corner. I got the idea from snafupants who is a magnificent role model for me. If you click on it you will get the profile but you need not do that. I'm assuming the "@" does nothing functional other than to say, "at." Am I doing it wrong? If I am you are free to blame snafupants.

Milan is better if you live there. I've never been there. Have you? It's in the north and faster, isn't it?
Paris is better for my cousins. They live there.
Tokyo is great if you can read all those signs. I've been there.
London is good if you like running. I ran in Hyde park and almost got lost.
New York is nice to visit. I visit 50 weeks a year and then leave every week.

That is a random ranking except the best is last but I'm biased. Please do not blow it up.

The πth number is undefined to me. You will have to clarify. If you take are using a step function on π, that would be four, so you have 2 in the Fibonacci sequence. If you round off π, you have 1.

I'm not familiar with the club threads so it's difficult to make that comparison. One should bear in mind that each of any "Ask" threads has a different sponsor representing a different person. So there are a few possibilities as to tenure.

It like eating your first piece of pie. The 2nd piece is good. By the 3rd you are filling up. The 4th you are pushing it. The 5th is okay if you are a bulemiac.

Best to wait a while and switch your taste in pies. Also the sponsor themselves may change their willingness or ability to answer.

I suppose the purpose of these threads varies with the sponsor. You may want to get to know the person or you may want to bounce your questions off of them. The sponsor may want to feel challenged or may want to save time by answering many or by just feeling open.

In my case, it's a fun way to feel challenged and to think about things. I'm sure there are more reasons ...

I don't know too many. How about Wonderwoman? I would avoid batwoman though. Too icky. Wait a minute. You said, "date." If that means an appointment, I don't have to get sexual about it. Superman might be interesting.

Why?

I'd like to check him out. I'd ask him what he thinks of the laws of physics. Then I'd ask him if he'd like to date Architect who could do a further check if he's willing. There might be some practical applications too. Like I don't know how fast Superman can go* or if he's a good thinker. Maybe he would agree to go to Iran and North Korea and muscle up something.

That reminds me of what actors say. "I'm extremely anxious before I go on but when the time comes it all goes away and I'm immersed in the part."

I think the reason is because it's not fear, but anxiety. Anxiety is about the unknown and the future. Once you are in the fearsome situation, it's too late. All decisions are out of your hands. You have no fear of running away because you are committed. Once it's over it's too late.

If I could control it, I would say hold off the desire to make one until ongoing ones wind down. Get to know the thread author. On the other hand there is plenty of room for everyone on this Forum so maybe it's an interesting fashion. Does such a thread get exhausting? Well it's up to the reader and writer. If I get bored over repetition, I will answer to that effect. If you get bored from reading, you will stop reading.

Am I enjoying it? Yes it's fun to try to answer appropriately. What is appropriate? Not always easy. I don't think people are asking me questions on philosophy or experience they could ask, but if those answers come out on other threads, what the heck ... it's okay.
