well, i suspect my sanity may be straying farther from the pen. just look at my posts on the snapvine! i spent two hours last night dancing and singing along to Nightmare Before Christmas songs! today, at break in school, i showed my ass to a group of girls as well as many others and wiped my ass on the doorhandle of my science classroom door. i walked out of a music lesson to shout and scream song lyrics. now i feel really bad and down.

I went through similar times.

It's probably your Ne and Fe going out of control, caused and compounded by low self-esteem. Ne gives rise to some forms of weirdness, and Fe, being weak and tainted with feelings of worthlessness, results in bizarre attempts at connecting with other people and being noticed.

It's not insanity, but possibly only by virtue of the short time-frame.

yep. Been there, done that. It can seem fun at first, because here you are displaying the 'real you' or something, which you never do. I would recommend that you don't let it get way out of control because you'll start to really hate yourself and alienate others. Find a good way to occupy your time and energies that makes you feel good about yourself and your abilities and dive in. It should help.

That's how it's been for me, anyway.

eg your point about self-hate and alienation. This probably wouldn't have come to me at all. I seem totally unaware of anything other than the technical causes and details, sometimes, maybe. (not sure of anything)

I am losing my mind because I can't relate to this. I can't even feel the gears in my brain shift in proximity to allow such behavior. That in itself bothers me and I will have to reflect on it later.

Note - I'm not saying your behavior is crazy or unacceptable at all. I'm actually amused by it well the door knob thing sends shivers down my spine.
