Hardest thing about being INTP?
I do not find it difficult. Why would I? I like being a minority.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?
Browsing through a bunch of tests, found one of those so called free MBTI tests.

Typing Intp forum, but misclicking intpcentral one for this. Found a better athmosphere in here.

Interests?
I never actually knew what my interests were. I guess i like a really well told story, be it in books, games or verbal.

Hardest thing about being INTP?
Being an unhealth INTP. Ti'ing to much, focusing too much on understanding concepts, rather than actually understanding people.

Was sitting in the library and picked up "Psychology Today" because it had some pretty girl's face with her hair covering half the face, started to flip through it and found an article about introverted people, which started the research of new terms.

Discovery Of This Forum:
After doing a test, one offered a link to this place... Was given ENTP the first time I took the test, but the times after I have recieved INTP.

A question I asked my mother about 3 revolutions in, and I remember it very clearly, it was my 1st memory. "If I have two eyes why do I only see one thing?" That was hell, was sent to doctors for about two years after that, trying to find out what was wrong with me haha.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

I was curious about personality types / why I seemed like such a weirdo to others. Found MBTI, took some tests, read results, and said "Yup, That's me."

How did you find out about this forum?

As a referral from one of the tests I took.

What is your name?
Maybe I will share that later.

Where are you from?
Southern California, United States. (I can't stand it for the most part.)

How old are you?
21.

What's your gender?
Female.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?
I completed a funny personality type test and my answer was INTP. It sparked my interest in MBTI so I decided to take some more detailed tests. I took quite a few of them multiple times each and my results have been almost consistently INTP, but two times my results came out as INTJ. I think that it might have something to do with the fact that I enjoy being organized.

Also, my younger brother found out that he is an INTP but even more introverted. I wasn't surprised at all. We are often very much like twins.

How did you find out about this forum?
I was searching for INTP humor online, because I love making fun of myself, and discovered some threads on this website. My first thought was "I have found my people!"

Do you have a partner/lover?
No. Part of me misses certain aspects of my previous relationship, but I love the freedom of being single and alone so much that I often wonder if I will be in a relationship ever again. Eh... I might just give it five or ten years.

Do you have any kids?
No and I am certain I never will.

Do you have any pets?
One four year old cat. Her name is Boo. She seems to be at least half Russian Blue, but I have no way of knowing.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
Creating things, various projects, arts & crafts. I have become more of a reader as of late and also write a lot more. I play guitar and fool around with music. I like video games. More than anything though, I spend most of my day hiding away in my head.

How do you generate an income?
I work retail and hardly get any hours. I am tempted to sing and play guitar for money but I really hate getting that sort of attention.

Interests?
I have so many interests that it almost drives me insane.

Hardest thing about being INTP?
I spend far too much time thinking about doing things rather than actually doing them. I spent seven hours yesterday researching various things online that interested me. I was very anxious at the end of it all and later finally got some things done.

Also, I don't usually sympathize with people and I often unintentionally offend others. I don't seem to fit in at all. But that gets much easier with age.

What is your name?

My real name is Jonathan, and I go by Jon. I would prefer to be referred to as Nyuura here.

Where are you from?

America, just like mostly everybody else. man, I wish I was the oddball....

How old are you?

14. 9th Grade is actually my 9th year because I skipped kindergarten, which I didn't need at all, really.

What's your gender?

Male, why?

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

I took a test in one of my classes, and I was positive for INTP.

How did you find out about this forum?

After school I googled "INTP" and read one of the articles describing them. At the bottom there was some links. *click* and here I am.

Do you have a partner/lover?

Nope, although I'm wondering why....

Do you have any kids?

*cough*

Do you have any pets?

I wish to have a cat.

What is the most difficult part of being an INTP?

I believe it is the fact that we are so different from everybody else in the world, almost as if it is a sin to be smart. And thus we don't want to raise any eyebrows so we keep quiet. And then you realize that if the world you're in doesn't care, then what's the point of thinking about things? Still, thinking is something I'd rather do than that one assignment over there.

And there ya have it!

What is your name?
Hmm, not too sure anymore. Born Jesse Cornelius Clymer, adopted at age 6, became Jesse Cornelius Allan, seriously considering returning to birth name. Call me Neil in the meantime.

Where are you from?
Born and raised in the *cough* beautiful province of Ontario, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. I think the Europeans call my country the 52nd state of America, and the Americans call my country Canada... I don't know, it's too confusing for me to figure out.

How old are you?
About the same as everyone else who's posted. Somewhere in my late teens to early twenties. Age is just a number though, and I happen to think that maturity is more important... if you must know, 7,440, 3 hours.

What is your gender?
Last I checked, Jesse is a male name. You do the math.

How did you find out you were INTP?
A charity that I support encouraged their interns to try a personality test, compare results, and discuss. I got wind of it through Facebook, and figured I'd give it a shot.

How did you find this forum?
There was a link to here at the bottom of the INTP overview, on that personality test. I followed the link.

Do you have a partner/lover?
As seems to be common among those of us posting, I do not. A couple of possible prospects at school; we'll have to see how things progress.

Do you have children?
Not yet. I want a son eventually, but, well...

Do you have any pets?
As in animals??? No. Not anymore. Had a Shepherd/Lab as a child, a cat in my teens, and now just have my biological dad and his gf. They're just as much responsibility as pets, so in a sense, yeah, I's got pets.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
First and foremost, bicycling. Most efficient mode of transportation, plus tons of fun and exercise. Besides being a great way to raise money and awareness for causes when I do long-distance trips. Besides that, Internet, reading

How do you generate an income?
Presently, I'm in school, so no income. Usually small sole proprietorships over my breaks from school. Just haven't come up with anything that's stuck lately.

Interests?
Old-school rock and roll, biking, accounting, math, reading, more accounting, business in general. Learning whenever I have the opportunity. Usually online, since information is most accessible there.

Hardest thing about being an INTP?
Thinking that I was the only person who happened to have my personality traits, until I found this forum this weekend.
Being constantly approached by friends for counselling, simply because they know that I'll give them a logical solution, then seeing those friends ignore said solution...
Being approached by random strangers for counselling. Strangest thing I've ever seen/experienced...
Having thoughts race through my mind 24/7, regardless of how much effort I put into calming them.
Not being able to eat/sleep/live because I'm in the thralls of an idea process that cannot be interrupted for any reason. This is perhaps the hardest part. For example, the past 4 days have seen maybe 12 hours of sleep because I've been trying to figure out the best setup for my bike for a crosscountry trip this summer, plus I've been busy reading through this forum.
Being told that I'm robotic in my dealings with people, simply because I don't show my emotions except to a very select few.

Male.

How did you find out you were INTP?
My cousin convinced me to take the test, and lo and behold...

How did you find this forum?
Googled it.

Do you have a partner/lover?
Yes.

Do you have children?
No. Unsure on whether or not I should even have any. Definately not planning any for a long time -_-'

Do you have any pets?
Around 12 Turtles, Few tanks of Fish, A Ferret, and Two dogs. And Two Geckos as well.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
I'm a Moderater on a RP site, but other than that I just mostly hang out with friends. I used to do chess, but I hardly would consider that seeing as the meetings were only once every three months or so.

How do you generate an income?
I sell recreational drugs. No, I do farmwork for my Uncle.

Interests?
Women, Friends, Music, Internets, and if I feel like it I'll hop on the Ol' Xbox. Oh yeah and my RP'ing.

Hardest thing about being an INTP?
Thinking too damn much, I've attempted suicide because I had convinced myself there was no point to life, aside from living. I've moved past those views and have moved into telling myself to suck it up, as many more people have it worse than me.
The fact that I am not subtle in my dealings, saying what you think isn't always a good thing.

No. Currently scraping all my courage together to confess my love to someone.

Do you have children?
No. I'd probably like to have one or two kids eventually.

Do you have any pets?
A cat.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
Drawing, painting, animating, browsing on the internet.

How do you generate an income?
I used to fill cabinets at a supermarket, quit because I hated the manager and the work itself eventually. Might start delivering pizzas now, in a while...

Interests?
Art, music, girls, plants, space.

Hardest thing about being an INTP?
The awkwardness everywhere. I used to be able to communicate with people easily, but last year I have been getting really nervous, annoyed and cold when talking to people for some reason, I really want to explain my feelings but I can't, I'll describe my feelings with colors and concepts others don't get at all. I'm working on it though.

What is your name?

My birth-name is defined as "sincere and straightforward of speech/expression"...things I sincerely and straightforwardly doubt my ability to live up to. To be a gem set alone but yet awash in an ocean of other gems is a far greater inspiration, so I prefer Solitaire.

Where are you from?

Los Angeles...the most awesomely polluted culture on the planet.

How old are you?

Pretty damned old.

What's your gender?

The pronged end of the extension cord.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

Through the sheer stupidity of daring to ask the internet "What am I?"

How did you find out about this forum?

Googled 'INTPc' when it apparently fell off the face of the earth yesterday and was redirected here.

Do you have a partner/lover?
Undeservingly, yes.

Do you have any kids?
Three sons, ages 23, 11, and 9, with one slightly mentally-defective nephew age 9 also currently semi-permanently residing in the space vacated when non-INTP eldest son graciously moved out.

Do you have any pets?
A 'cavapoo' named Bart...the posthumously presented gift of fleeing former neighbors. An American Pit Bull Terrier named Freeway...in honor of the place I found her wandering and hungry. A black tomcat dubbed 'wall' pending it's decision to do something more self-distinguishing than appearing atop it's namesake every few days waiting to be fed. Two California King Snakes, the aquarium colony of mice that is their self-replenishing food source, and one ill-tempered bastard of a red-tailed boa kept strictly out of nostalgia for having bitten every member of the household, and reluctance at having to replace the tire that's sure to be death-struck should my dream of running over it in the driveway ever become a reality.

If you can think of any other questions you might like to ask new members, or myself, please add them.
How do you justify the time and expense of providing a forum like this as a freebie? My gratitude alone seems so...insufficient.

Dragging wrecked and broken shit off the highway.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
building hot rods, recreational drug use, traveling the world, immersion-style foreign language acquisition, flying (and crashing!) RC aircraft, and a host of other shit I'll never have the spare time or money to actually pursue. Thank christ for the internet, eh?

Most difficult aspect of being an INTP?
As long as that travel-trailer to which I hold the only key remains nearby for me to escape into, I got no complaints.

Through working with my counselor (INFJ) she introduced me to the MBTI system.

How did you find out about this forum?

I googled 'INTP forum' and this was one of the first to pop up. I had a nosy around and found that this could be a useful site to assist in understanding myself and others with the same personality.

Do you have a partner/lover?

No, never have.

No, but I enjoy working with kids.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have two pet cats and a Kunekune (native New Zealand pig).

Which hobbies absorb you the most?

Art and film.

How do you generate an income?

I don't, I leach off the government. ;)

Interests?

Yes, lots.

Art (spend most of my free time drawing), film (animation and documentaries in particular), music (I play the piano and the drums), martial arts (Boxing and Muay Thai) nutritional science (currently studying to work as a dietitian), reading (I love books) philosophy, psychology, fishing, history, playing video games (RPG and strategy are my favorite genres) ,riding motorcycles, exploring, and watching the clouds go by.

Hardest thing about being an INTP?

Lacking empathy towards others, being emotionally mute (I have a hard time expressing emotion) and being eaisly misunderstood by others. Being an INTP can be very isolating from time to time.

One cat named Leia and a dead butterfly named Geraldo.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?

Making crappy electronic music. Painting, sometimes.

How do you generate an income?

Writing about making crappy electronic music, sometimes.

Interests?

Sound, synthesizers, electronics, wasting time, worrying about wasted time, sleeping.

Name:

Location:
UK, Southampton or Swindon.

Age:
20

Gender:
Male

Discovery Of Personality Type:
I developed an interest in Jung's works last year after reading around some lyrics by Tool. My sister took an out introduction to his work from her library and I read it, some point later I found the test and came out INTJ. I took it again it came out INTP and I found this forum. Since then I have narrowed myself down to INFJ.

Discovery Of This Forum:
Explanation above.

Partner/Lover:
Single

Offspring:
Nah, hopefully one day.

Pets:
My lovely Siamese Tamika :tinykitball: I'd post a picture but they're all on my Sisters laptop.

Hobbies:
Long walks and deep thinking. I play the bass guitar but have no intention of joining a band. I blog a bit, usually around areas related to my degree [History - modern mostly]. I like planning stories and making characters, but enjoy the actual writing process a lot less. I am planning on writing a script of sorts in the holidays though. I suppose my interests are quite plain, I just like dwelling in my imagination really.

Income Generator:
Student, no income, history, no hope of income ;)

Interests:
Um, music, mostly fusion jazz, progressive rock and post-rock. History, more in the sense of creating meaningful narratives for myself than something empirical. I'd say philosophy but I'm more interested in what I can create than 'the great philosophers' systems, it seems to me about creating meaning for one self, really. Psychology, sure. Creative writing, bla, bla.

INTP Difficulties:
More INFJ, not INTP. Um, usual one of being misunderstood, or feeling internally fragmented. I tend to look at things from an odd perspective which the majority bar a few I have met can't understand. I make so many characters or day dream about them that I adopt parts of their personality, I find it hard to draw the line between self and chameleon, in that regard.

First Memory:
It was either a very early dream, or a part of a tv show I saw, either way it has had a deep impression on me.
A group of children are looking out from a cavern out at these giant pairs of blue feet waltzing in the valley. They're waltzing to a mellotron, I am very sure. I was reminded of the dream when I heard Big Top by King Crimson, I couldn't move when I heard it for at least a few minutes. One of the reasons I love the band.
The kids are crying out at these feet to stop dancing, but they won't listen and keep dancing as they all shatter into pieces one by one, until they are all gone and the children are left in the dark.
I've used the dream a few times in my stories as I find it quite a powerful image.

Belief:
Recently Ex-Christian. I have a personal vendetta against the concept of hell which followed me even through my Christian year. I see my loved ones as the children in the dark, when I was challenged by my Christian friends upon leaving the faith I asked them 'Why won't you stop dancing?'. The above might give you an idea.
I think I have come to realise meaning and knowledge are ultimately human constructs with no outside objectivity to compare it to. I see it as a license to create meaning. I define my personal philosophy around choices, what I choose to bind as meaningful, what I choose to loose and leave behind. Something is meaningful simply because I say it is. I don't believe in determinism, or nihilism. Without agency this life would be boring.
I see everything within the framework of stories, and I personally choose to write my own.

Really? I would love it if you messaged me concerning this.

Life would be no different without agency, proven by the fact that I don't believe in agency, and life is no different. Eh, could be wrong though. Interesting nonetheless.

"bind"..."loose"... I understand.

Though, personally, I identify more with nihilism now.

What is your name?

Just yell out 'You, with the hair!' and I'll respond.

Where are you from?

From Michigan, living in Minnesota. I have a thing for cold 'M' states. Montana, you're next.

How old are you?

21

What's your gender?

female

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

Friend wanted me to test, so I did. I got INTJ. Didn't relate all that much. Took it a few months later with utter honesty and I got INTP. Makes oodles more sense.

How did you find out about this forum?

Google

Do you have a partner/lover?

No

Do you have any kids?

Noper, doper.

Do you have any pets?

An awesome old German Shepherd I've had since I was eight. I'm secretly and unrealistically hoping she's immortal.

How do you generate an income?

Any job I dont have to commit to. Construction, leather working, and delivering the Farm Forum right now. Used to be a cleaner and a metal scrapper.

Interests?

Drawing, writing, reading, thinking, learning, television and film, video games, photography, survival preparedness, researching random topics that interest me that day.

Hardest thing about being an INTP?

Trying to figure out how to act in most social situations. And attempting to not insult people without meaning to, which is surprisingly challenging.

My name is Navneet Khare.

Where are you from?

I am from India.

How old are you?

I am 19.

What's your gender?

Male

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

I became aware of the MBTI concept by a quiz on Facebook. Though at that time I did not take it seriously and thought that it's just one of those fake tests for fun. But later when I googled about it I found out that it's actually a standard test. Since then I have given this test multiple times on different sites over a long period of time with spacing between to make sure that my result is accurate. And yes I am INTP.

How did you find out about this forum?

The ever amazing Google search engine.

Do you have a partner/lover?

No. I wish I didn't but apparently I need another INTP to be able to fall in love.

Do you have any kids?

This question doesn't apply to me.

Do you have any pets?

No I don't. I'd love to have a dog, theoretically speaking but practically I know I wouldn't be able to take care of it.

Age:
17 (I think)
Gender:
Male/androgenous

Not quite sure what I am, type-wise, although I am balancing between a humble INTJ and normal-ish INFJ. Tests, to answer the query.

How did you find out about this forum:
Thought there might've been one after lurking on INTJf for a time, typed it in the address pane and found myself in a curious place.

Marital status:
Very much alone.

Do you have any kids?
Nope, nor do I plan on it for some time. Maybe later...

Pets:
Cats! Three of them. I love them for their independent crankiness.

Hardest thing about being [type ____]?

The loneliness and general frustration + fatigue as I see the imperfect prototype of what could be, if only people would see beyond the immediate surface of reality. Naturally, this is speaking from a (false) pedestal but that is a song for another night.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

I took some personality tests, and the result was always INTP.

How did you find out about this forum?

Google: "INTP forum"

Do you have a partner/lover?

Nope.

Do you have any kids?

Njet.

Do you have any pets?

No.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?

Politics, music (I play various instruments and listen to various genres), physics, religious studies (I'm an agnostic atheist, but very fascinated by the concept of religion) and acting. Nowadays I spend most of my wake hours at or on my way to and from school, though.

How do you generate an income?

I mow my neighbors' lawns now and then, but I'm still almost completely financially dependent on my parents.

Hardest thing about being INTP?

The loneliness and difficulty making friends, and always having to figure out to act in various social situations.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

Took MBTI test several times, always showed up INTJ, but bordering almost equally on J/P
Descriptions of INTP are much more like me, though.

How did you find out about this forum?

Google.

Do you have a partner/ lover ?

no.

Do you have any kids?

Yes.

Do you have any pets?

A cat.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?

Depending on my mood either drawing, jigsaw puzzles, writing, reading or video games. Or learning all I can about what interest me (newest obsession, MBTI typology), psychology, anthropology,
culture and diversity, history. Or at times, just sitting back in my own little world, observing the bizarre rituals of what is called "normal human behavior" It's a lot of fun, and very amusing.

Hardest thing about being an INTP?

I got double-whammy being almost equally J/P. Relating to humans is very hard, if not impossible, at times. I've been called "boring" (but I think I just have trouble expressing my interests, I have tons of interests.) but I'm rarely bored. To top it off, I'm very picky about who I chose to be friends with to begin with. I fear being too rational for my own good, when it comes to relationships. Trying to find other people who are willing to see the world in own bizarre little way, is another reason with it's hard. Some more open-mindedness amongst humans would be nice.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

I took a MBTI at the career center in college and it came up as INTP. I retook it several times online and got the same result. So, INTP it is.

How did you find out about this forum?

Google.

Do you have a partner/ lover ?

A wife

Do you have any kids?

No. We've decided not to have kids.

Do you have any pets?

Two cats.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?

Is work a hobby? Because that's what I do a lot of. I work in medical research and I teach anthropology at a local community college. What little free time I get is usually spent with my nose in a non-anthropological book or on the Xbox. I like to ride my motorcycle, but that's become more of a means of transportation and less of a hobby in the past few years.

Hardest thing about being an INTP?

I can't think of anything really. I guess that some people have a hard time with me saying what's on my mind without any consideration for how they feel about it, but that's their problem, not mine.

Watched a Youtube video from a source I enjoy to watch that has psychology and such. I ended up scoring INTP and told it was unique. So I started Googling.

Flash Game Design, drawing, studying psychology, learning to program (if I would ever master a specific language)..., competitive swimming, running,

I'm a student. I don't yet.

Christian. Pretty rare for an INTP from what I have observed on other forums.

Yes, somewhat rare, but perhaps not as rare as one would have another believe. Many of the people on this forum are Christian.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?

I had to take the test as part of a small group communications class in college. The professors (two) had never seen one before - they immediately separated me for fear that I would figure out their tricks and ruin the surprises for the class.

How did you find out about this forum?

Troving the net after a deep depression about wanting the same thing in a job that I have at home. Always something new.

Do you have a partner/lover?

Yes, 15 years now with an ESTJ.

Do you have any kids?

Never.

Do you have any pets?

Three dogs, a cat, two fish and a hermit crab currently.

How do you generate income?

Instead of giving my "so nebulous to be meaningless" job title, I'll describe it. I figure out what would stop a business from being successful, and design programs to address those things.

I also provide consulting services that change every three to six months. Sometimes accounting and bookkeeping, other times writing programs or performing analysis. Whatever happens to come along.

Interests and Hobbies?

I like anime, adventure and puzzle games, playing first person shooters with my husband to allieviate the stress, computer programming at work to allieviate the persistent bordem, hiking, etc. I liked reading mysteries and sci-fi, and writing poetry when I was younger.

No

Only few cactuses, cause they don't die if I forget them.

Interests
Lots of them, but mainly scientific ones. In addition to science I like art (paintings, movies, theatre, music, etc).
I also enjoy trying and comparing different kinds of coffee, cigarettes, and chocolate.
Travelling (since I don't have enough money for actual travelling, I do it in my mind).

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?
Took the test this past weekend, also Keirsey Temperament Sorter - result: Rational Architect; and Enneagram, result: 5 ...no surprises here.

How did you find out about this forum?
Internet search for INTP
Do you have a partner/lover?
Yes, and she introduced the Jung/Myers-Briggs concept to me shortly after we met just over 10 years ago. At that time I perceived it to be another overly-generalized "profiling" kinda thang which would probably yield inaccurate results. She is an ENTP and knew not to push it and let me pursue it on my own - 10 years later.

Do you have any kids?
One daughter, age 30.

Do you have any pets?
One dog, a stray who gave up living wild when she decided I would be a good human for her.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
Reading. I do many creative things which I do not consider to be hobbies, including playing music, painting, aviation, design & engineering work for my own projects.

How do you generate an income?
I work in an engineering capacity in a highly specialized manufacturing field. I have good reason to believe I am the only person in the state in which I live doing what I do, and have been for 6 years. That's pretty INTP.

Interests?
See above - improvisational music, art, sculpture, metalworking, woodworking, stress analysis (without software), aviation.

Hardest thing about being INTP?
Spending decades thinking I was totally different from virtually everyone I encountered, in very strange and unexplainable ways. What a relief to find out there are between 1% and 3% of the general population who are feeling the same thing!

I've mostly scored as INTP since I was 12, when I found a quiz on blogthings (remember that site?) and decided to research it (what else is new ). And in the enneagram, I identify as a type 5 with a 4 wing.

How did you find out about this forum?
Browsing google.

Do you have a partner/lover?
No, never have.

Do you have any kids?
Hell na.

Do you have any pets?
My dawgee. xD

How do you generate an income?
6 hours of part time. I'm not sure what kind of career I should pursue in the future.

Belief System?
I suppose that my logic and world view coincides most accurately with Taoism.

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
2D design ★ music ★ singing ★ crafts ★ fashion ★ writing reflectively as to not have my years of intense thought be lost ★ physics ★ piano ★ photography ★ conceptualizing/imagination ★ Japan

Most difficult aspect of being an INTP?

  • frustration resulting from not having determined something with 100% certainty (which is often)
  • frustrated by shallowness and mundane tasks.
  • tendency to destruct defense mechanisms and mental foundations in order to find truth, which is extremely dangerous to the mind.
  • amazing insight to psychology but struggle to socialize with people.
  • too much internal processing can be a problem.
  • people not even having a phantom of a grasp on the advanced concepts that you want to express.
  • random, and embodies polar qualities at the same time.
  • explaining the crap outta everything in essays.

What is your name?
My name is not actually Albert, but you can call me Albert anyway. You can also call me EmergingAlbert or EA. You can call me whatever you want, as long as it's not offensive. You can even call me something offensive if you want. It's a free country. I won't appreciate it if you call me something offensive though.

Where are you from?
I am from the greatest place on Earth. At least I think I'm from Earth, but sometimes I wonder...

How old are you?
Two decades and two years.

What's your gender?
Male.

How did you find out that you were INTP, or other type?
I took the official MBTI right before I started college and tested INTP. I have also tested as many other types online, but the I and the T have always been quite consistent. I've never tested as an extravert. I often test as an ISTP, and sometimes even an INTJ.

How did you find out about this forum?
I was going to join INTP Central, but since I have some acquaintances on that forum, I found this one in order to remain anonymous.

Do you have a partner/lover?
Yes I do. I love her more than anyone in the world. We have been dating for just over a year now. She is an ENFP.

Do you have any kids?
No. I think I would like a couple of kids one day...if I get married, that is.

Do you have any pets?
No. I used to have a dog, but he died several months ago. I don't intend on getting any more pets unless someone gives me one.

How do you generate an income?
I work part-time at a call center and ask people to give me money. My parents help me out a lot too, along with college scholarships.

Belief System?
I am a nondenominational Christian. I would also consider myself a Christian Agnostic (if you don't know what that means, look it up).

Which hobbies absorb you the most?
Surfing the Internet, singing, wasting time not doing my homework, spending time with my fair lady, singing, and horseback riding

Most difficult aspect of being an INTP?
Ah, I could probably write a book about this, but I'll try to keep it short. Lack of initiative and motivation. Trying to express my emotions to my extremely sensitive, emotional girlfriend without offending her. Being constantly judged for not following "conventional" rules. Trying to understand illogical people. Trying to understand people in general. Feeling like I have some sort of mental illness just because I'm different. Being expected to act a certain way. When people think I'm insensitive or emotionless, when in fact, I'm experiencing a plethora of emotions, but I simply don't know how to (or have no desire to) express them. When my strong religious convictions contradict with my strong logical convictions. Handling others' irrational anger. The list goes on...
