Reminds me of Stephen King. Before he got published, he had a crappy, dreary, low income workaholic type lifestyle. Look where he is now.

i have 1 full novel written (i posted a couple chapters in the self made forum), i have about 10 chapters of a second novel, 20 of a third (that i really hope to continue if i get the motivation, as i think it has a lot of potential), and 5 of a fourth. i also have several short stories, most of which i wrote about 5 years ago.

wow that's a hell of a lot of writing. haha the most I've ever gotten out is a dozen or so pages of journaling when I really needed thoughts out of my head and didn't have anyone to talk to. I was always content with having it in my head... sort of like "if I can jump from place to place in my head, why would I waste the time writing it down so that I have to leaf through it looking for what I want?) I can see how it'd happen, because once you get going it's really easy to continue... but I'm still impressed. That's a lot of writing.

unfortunately not enough writing. i have too many ideas and not enough motivation to write them down.
