Default MBTI types of "Lord of the Rings" Characters?

It is late and I am tired and my brain seems to be shutting down for the night...

I will be 'celebrating' my one year anniversary on this forum in about a month and have been contemplating a disappearing act much like that of Bilbo Baggins. Then of course I got distracted - Hobbits just have to be Es of some sort. Well, then INTPs are the Elves... No unfortunately we are most like the Ents...

Anyway what is the breakdown of Lord of the Ring characters into MBTI types?

(Sorry, if there already a thread on this topic A quick glance did not reveal any...)

Tom Bombadil is the best example of an INTP imho.

Aragorn is probably an INFJ - spends extremely long amounts of time alone in the woods, keeps to himself when around other people unless he has something important to engage with them over, seems very empathetic with Frodo and Sam, is in love with Arwen beyond reason, and has the ability to easily see the big picture very easily.

Gimili is probably an extrovert as well but the rest of those seem spot on.

Anthile is nearly spot on. I am INTJ (mainly), and have always associated with the Gandalf character. I agree that Aragorn is I and Gimli E. What about Arwen? INFJ?

Of all the three books, which one is your favourite? I have read them three times so far, and my favourite is The Fellowship of the Ring.

Ralph is probably an ENFJ and Jack is probably either an INTJ or ENTJ. Piggy is probably ISF...

Then again, it's been a while, I might be way off...

The rest of the boys are probably SJs, to fit in with Golding's allergory.

But what about the Lord of the Flies?? What type is it?

He was an INFP as far as I know.

I haven't had much practice in judging MTBI types, but I'll try.

Aragorn - ISFJ
Frodo - INFP
Gandalf - INTJ
Legolas - INTP
Gimli - ESFP
