In star trek ds9, 'Terran' is the Cardasian name for humans, usually used in an offensive way. Comes from latin 'Terra', so I guess it's suppose to imply the 'homo' part only, and not the 'sapiens'. Saying Humans are stupid/unwise maybe.

It is related solely on aura colors, but my username is sorta given, just for the heck of it originally, but later it turned out to be part of my personal truth. Otherwise, I do not believe in their pretty flawed and illogical description of those aura sites. Usually sites like these are pretty biased in their view and tend to sway others in believing a certain theory.

But here it is:
http://allaurasandchakras.com/aura-indigo.htm
http://allaurasandchakras.com/aura-violet.htm
http://paranormal.lovetoknow.com/Aur..._Their_Meaning

I was not relating myself an indigo but thinking of a user name, and not sure why the word indigo popped out. It has a meaning of a person being different, having quite equal tendency in the sex polarity (despite that my appearance is not obvious to the others), and a person who does not think like the rest of the people.

Violet is something like a visionary and a leader, although for being a lead I am not sure whether I am or not. Yes I see things and is currently working on some occult theories, ie pertains the universe or universal theory.

Well but, despite this, my thinking dominates my trends that I mentioned. The first thing I usually come up is solutions. 11 is the number that goes with being number 1, as a username for any non new agey spiritual related forum.

The one who gave me that name certainly think I am a great person..

I was getting into Philip K. Dick around the time I joined here, and I had just picked up a copy of A Scanner Darkly. Partly, I couldn't think of anything else at the time; partly, I really liked the idea of PKD and of ASD. Sadly, it turns out the idea of the book was better than the actual book, although it is still worth reading...

I prefer his more sci-fi-heavy works...

Are we allowed to change our usernames on this forum?

Well, I got this chess fase back 2013. I used to research a bunch of chess strategies and chess openings, besides solving chess puzzles and playing chess online.

My favorite piece was the rook, because is a valuable endgame piece with amazing looks.

A very common move to "release" the rook was rook to e1 as whites or rook to e8 as blacks. Its very powerful to have the rook to e row in quite often scenarios.

I used to use Rooke1. But then I figured using numbers in the end of the nickname was not elegant.

Few weeks later I lost the interest for chess. Before becoming any good. I'm a mediocre chess player to this day. I kept the dank name tho.

Usually I use part of my surname. But if I want to stay extra anonymous I just use whatever first comes in my mind, like in this case. For some reason I'm paranoid and I don't want to leave traces of myself on some parts of internet.

I was both unable to think of a username made of words and curious about whether or not the forum would accept symbols not present on standard keyboards as a username. Turns out it needs just 3 or more characters/symbols, and that these dots are accepted.

If you ever do, pronounce it in your mind's voice however you'd like. Currently, I just think of the image without a verbal gloss, but then again it hasn't been long for me after first registering my account.

Also, hi. This is effectively my 'introit'. Though I'm far from reading all 11 pages' worth, it has been fun learning what thinking (or poor impulse control) has gone into all of your usernames.

There is a good amount of origin-story variety, but there are some themes that do seem to fit the INTP personality profile (such as it is, a limited category with some, but not complete, accuracy).

Concepts as symbols for oneself (Ti,Ne), references to shared experiences/history (Si,Fe), references to (stereotypical) NT interests, and jokes, with associative, nonsense, satire, and (vaguely) dark humor being particularly common (Ne, inferior Fe). And then there are ones like mine, experiments regarding the rules.

Although, I will admit, though I didn't think of it until after signing up (thus making it not really my 'creative intent'), there is a sort of meaning. The symbol I chose was arbitrarily taken from a document I had already up on my computer. The first non-standard-keyboard symbol I saw. In that way it does represent something I would put in a document, and so represents some of my interests, and some of my conceit (as 'interests' tend to reveal). I also think of it as fun that, on the one hand, we have these three dots, "", to denote a particular kind of certainty, but, on the other, three dots in a line, "...", can indicate confusion or uncertainty.

So much meaning. So little time.

I suppose these themes may be found among the usernames of members of all sorts of forums, and perhaps the frequencies of their occurrence here is trivial, I haven't even really read past page 5, and it must also be taken into account that many users here do not seem to always identify as INTP, so... yeah. Heaps of salt to be taken with all of the conjecture found above.

I've read somewhere (or at some point thought to myself) that the war between the need to ceaselessly theorize and the fear of ever being wrong is a central feature for INTPs. It results in a lot of prevarication, vacillation, and disclaimer unless and until said INTP learns to escape those fears. Here you see this in action. I am very far from ignoring my worries, and very far from learning to better organize my thoughts into something that is deliberate, not reactive or journeying.

My name is weird. Being an INTP, I sought after originality, so I had to come up with something nobody has used. So I did this:
Combined the name of my hobby, and one of my favourite words.
Programming (I just love to program)
Carcinogen (I find the meaning interesting)

Mines a little bit of a joke from gaming. It's basically my name (Rick) crossed with Crixus from Spartacus. The little joke being my title of "the undefeated troll." It's funny in online gaming, but obviously, I don't use that title on forums as it doesn't exactly project the right persona for the them. But the name is never taken so I just go with it.

I guess I picked this because, I was up thinking until 4 am, found this forum, decided to make an account and then in my wide-awake late-night thoughts, I figured "Think it do it" would be semi-clever and also thought that only capitalizing the first letter of the first word is less presenting of the name itself, opposed to having all first letters capitalized and I think less presentable is more presentable in the right eyes. Here I am rambling again.. soz

Because feeling stupid is potentially the only valuable feeling INTPs can feel. And it's power is incredible for us. So stupidity is more important for our development than any other mbti profile. Why not add some stupidity by incorrectly spelling something, just for additional impact.

The forum demographics feel very young. Maybe I am missing something in regards to other INTP's... but you guys seem... unpolished? I do see minds in development. I sense a lack of maturity in the general aspects. I was expecting more excellent minds contributing. I'm remorseful in seeing unpolished INTPs... ahh! They will become great minds, just allow them the space to observe.

Hmmm.. enjoy the youth, I suppose.

Galetki.Actually it's the name of a species in a book that I read.I don't know the title because I already forgot it a long time ago.The book is not the best or the most hyped book of Böszörményi Gyula rather the least generally know but my favorite. It's about a story in the world of the galetkis. And of course they are my favorite species too. That's because they are able to mutate almost to anything they want from the fallen ones spirit that they absorb.I liked how the name sounds but what I really liked is that ability of theirs to mutate themselves to be anything and that freedom to not have phsyical limitations.Really thought a lot what I would mutate to xDDD maybe a little too much, too.
Why this nick?I use it where i can and there is few where i can't(and from those few there are some where I already registered with Galetki xD),that's I think because it's unique and not really know, and can't really find the book nowadays. When I read,I did it in secret because my brother borrowed it from his acquaintance and was reading it so sometime I just stole it from his shelf and read at night under the blanket xD.

Well, that explains the avatar. Why not choose the user title as VI and be done with it?

Shieru is the Japanese translation of the French name Ciel, which means 'sky' and is also a muted blue color. French and Japanese are my two favorite languages/cultures, so i find a French word translated into Japanese especially unique and beautiful.

as for deeper meaning, sky is manifest of the element air, which symbolically represents logos - 'the spirited wind which hovers above the Earth'. i've seen it where the four elements are used as personality types, and air is often analogous to the INTP personality; rational and intellectual, yet disconnected and scattered.

i also resonate very much with the color ciel, as it's the color of the dusk sky and represents my favorite feeling/time of day.
