  1. XNTP

You could argue just as well that an ENTP is an INTP with brain damage.
  2. Exams and how INTPs cope with them.

Eaagh. I know what you mean.
  3. Ever get into Trouble at School?

Depending on the teacher, you could just put your interests on there and, when you hand it to the teacher, explain "I have no idea what I like, so these are some of my interests". I have found that with most assignments like that, the teacher is much less precise about his/her language than I...
  4. Thought-provoking Youtube videos

That would be hilarious. What did he say? You remember any quotes? If someone had done that to me before I knew about the MBTI, I would have been thinking, "Wow, this person knows me almost better than I do! What's going on?"
  5. Illustrated stories from the Bible

If you could find a way to do that so that they wouldn't guess it was you, that might be fun.
  6. Why do peple not vote/research

    Not even mutually exclusive.
  7. Communication?

    Ever read the Foundation series?
  8. XNTP

I haven't had your training, but I don't entirely agree with that. I'm with you on the "X is not a type" thing, but I'm not sure about some of the particulars of your theories.
  9. About you?

Nope. Nintendo characters. They happen to make up most of the population of Super Smash Bros.
  10. Staring into Space [thread split]

Yeah, I pace sometimes. Even worse, I wander.
  11. About you?

(I hope you know what I was referring to...)
  12. About you?

    What, no Mario?
  13. Legalize All Drugs!

Let's try this question: If marijuana and similar drugs suddenly ceased to exist, what would you do with your time?
  14. Would it be easier?

I just about never curse (I'm not really sure why, either). In fact, I have developed a habit of saying "What the flub!?" when surprised.
  15. Tattoos?

I think you'd be more likely to regret the finger than the legs later on.
  16. Tattoos?

Now wait, would that be a new tattoo, or a modification of one of the crosses, or what?
  17. Tattoos?

That would only become a problem if you stopped believing in evolution.
  18. Tattoos?

I don't know what to do about the crosses, but have you ever considered adding legs to the fish or something like that? :p
  19. sensitive?

    Bad analogy, but yes.
  20. Fictional Characters

Hmm. Didn't know this thread was already here. OK, so, how about Arkaday Darell?
  21. I'm Not Alone!

I skipped APCS (got a 5 on the test without taking the course) and I'm taking AP Calc BC this school year (school starts September 2nd). Hello and welcome to the forum. If you look through the intro section you'll find that you're not alone in saying you're not alone, either. Hope you have...
  22. Typing fictional characters?

Typing fictional characters can be fun. I'm wondering if we should have a board for that, or if a thread would be enough. I think a thread might get too crowded with too many characters, but I'm not sure this deserves a board. So, what should we do? (The character I currently have in mind...
  23. member from India

OK, you're an introvert. So what's your MBTI type?
  24. Legalize All Drugs!

Another way to put it: With the government trying to protect us from ourselves, who will protect us from the government?
  25. Legalize All Drugs!

    Not according to libertarian philosophy.
  26. Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

Economically, too. Ehh, just read the book. I'm not explaining it well. Another thing: The authors of that book do not like one-size-fits-all approaches. A factory that's optimized for its location will tend to do better than a generic factory.
  27. Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

The book I just mentioned argues that in many cases, if you do it right, you can actually see the benefits of eco-friendliness in the short term (i.e. less than two years after implementing it).
  28. Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment

I agree with Tekton. Also, try reading Cradle to Cradle. It explains this better.
  29. Legalize All Drugs!

    Well, then, why not marijuana?
  30. air i can breathe

This thread reminds me of this comic: http://xkcd.com/310/
  31. Leafknight signing aboard!

    If we can even remember!
  32. Hello everyone.

Well, we also have an INTJ and an ENTJ, but they aren't particularly active right now.
  33. Serenity Now

Even though this is what this thread was made for, I put it in the shout club thread because it's better for continuity and such.
  34. INTP and the internet

But... I did try! :( Sorry I misunderstood you. It really did sound like you were equating "natural" with "healthy", and like I said, the word "natural" is vague. It can mean a lot of different things. I made a guess at what you meant by it, and apparently missed pretty badly. Sorry...
  35. Staring into Space [thread split]

Re: Shout Club!!! You sure? He could have been thinking, "Come on, everyone past the age of 5 knows those are leaves!" Sorry, I just thought it was pretty obvious.
  36. INTP and the internet

Explanations are more effective and less likely to be misunderstood or taken the wrong way.
  37. INTP and the internet

Stop equating "natural" with "healthy". Also, the word "natural" is quite vague and may not even mean anything if you think about it. Depends. How severe are we talking here? Auroran, Solarian, what? (But then, those societies had other problems, too.)
  38. Help us with a forum logo

A filing cabinet? No. There would be a box on the desk labeled "ideas". The box would be mostly buried under papers that had been tossed there at random. Or something like that. But not a filing cabinet.
  39. Help us with a forum logo

I'm with Ogion. I don't think we really need a logo.
  40. Silence is Golden

    Yus.
  41. Thinking and Intuition in Functions - How Do They Differ?

@Jordan~: You don't even get that. @Wisp: I can recommend reading material if you want, but not in this thread.
  42. Thinking and Intuition in Functions - How Do They Differ?

No, there most certainly is not. You'd want INTJ for that. :p
  43. Silence is Golden

Not between code tags, you didn't.
  44. Thinking and Intuition in Functions - How Do They Differ?

But Wisp, then the book will be online before he gets it published.

  46. I am here to hug you

Welcome. It might be nice to have an INFJ on the forum. Try this thread: http://www.intpforum.com/showthread.php?t=608

  48. Thinking and Intuition in Functions - How Do They Differ?

Acting ENTP is not using the shadow functions, that's just Ne, the secondary function, coming forward. As for the second thing you described, I do that occasionally too, but I don't think it is "becoming more ISTP".
  49. Call me Ice-meal

Speech loss due to brain injury. Can't catch me!
  50. Politics Board

Ehh. We have a lot of boards already. Shouldn't we save that for other things? I don't see that as big enough to deserve its own board.
