With all the RPG threads popping up, this one is going to offer something different.

The default system will be Pathfinder, however,
I would like everyone signing up to tell me which system you prefer from this selection and I will adopt it:

I can GM in; D20 (fallout d20), D&D 3.0, D&D 3.5, Pathfinder (D&D 3.75), Neuroshima, Cyberpunk 2020 and Anima:Beyond Fantasy.

My preferred game style and default would be PbP (play by post), see below:

I would like everyone signing up to give me their favored playstyle from, VTTRPG (roll20 virtual table with a toolset and skype voip), PbP, Online Conferencing (with me drawing maps and posting images and voip).

What is Play by Post?
Is a collaborative fiction type of text-based experience, where each user provides input with posts, instead of spoken words during the standard RPG session.
This enables participants to provide longer and more structured content, while the duration between posts ensures that the game is manageable and everyone can act and express.
play by post example
wiki

Setting. I am currently considering several options, the main includes planeswalking and a low-magical world.
For getting an idea of planeswalking check [anime]Tsubasa Chronicles, for an idea on low to non-magical fantasy check [fantasy]Lord of the Rings, or [medieval]Arthurian Legends.

The other theme I think of is Cyberpunk.
To learn about cyberpunk I refer [anime/manga]Ghost in The Shell franchise, [manga]Battle Angel Alita, [sci-fi]Sprawl Trilogy.

I am open to suggestions to the preferred themes and elements to be included. If you are a fan of:
Combat, Exploring, Roleplaying (storytelling) , include it from the most to the least important.

If there are any genres/sub-genres to be included, write them and provide some references to give an idea.

Finally, if you have an idea of a character you wish to play, give me their short description and name.

I am going to pool for data, then compile it and create a finalised version of preparations.

Example of a relevant sign up post:
I want to play Pathfinder and I would like it to be play by forum only.

I prefer the medieval setting over the cyberpunk one and specifically I like mystery and thriller, similar to King or Chandler. (You can expand it providing quotes, elaborate, it is very useful for me)

My character is such and such, she likes to throw daggers and cook blood muffins. Her name is Ilia. She looks this and that, likes this and that, etc.

I like exploring, combat, roleplaying. (exploring as most and roleplaying as least important)

Player limit, to ensure the highest quality of content and action:
Play by Post; unlimited, minimum two players
Conference/VTTRPG, minimum of two players, maximum of six, more if I find willing GM's to help organise and co-create the adventure.

What can I offer?
Creating expansive worlds and stories to the best of my ability.
My designs are open-ended and freedom-of-choice oriented.
Flawlessly managing the mechanics and your input.
Making your characters and your wishes a part of the world.
Providing you with tactical and demanding combat, should you choose to have it during our game.

Interesting. My only table top RPG experience has been with shadowrun. It is good but complex. Yet, it's a dynamic setting for cyberpunk. From what I've seen Pathfinder is much less rule bound.

I found the cyberpunk 2020 PDf online.
I like the idea of a play-by-post, if the format is made clear, but it depends on the setting/world as to what I would run.

To follow the format:
I want to play cyberpunk or Pathfinder and I would like it to be play by forum only. I can't really commit large blocks of time weekly, the ppf is more flexible and I can also invest some time in the narrative.

I prefer cyberpunk but can play in a fantasy setting. I'd like there to be other things besides constant combat, although I enjoy combat; I just want my character's other skills and personality to play a role in the unfolding story. I also love horror elements woven into cyberpunk and/or fantasy.

My character would depend on setting. If cyberpunk, someone with decent fighting skills (I usually play a fast/quick type), + some tech/jack-in ability and can ride a motorcycle. Not sure what I'd play in fantasy setting.

I like exploring, roleplaying, and combat in that order, although I like all three.

It seems currently that potential players are interested in cyberpunk, so we are (2/3)-0 for cyberpunk and it is likely to be adapted.

Regardless of the system we choose, I will provide you with all the necessary resources and explanations, be it online or pdf encrypted files.

Interesting, you might be my target audience then :p.
I see no problem in giving you 60% cyberpunk 20% fantasy, 20% WWII historical fiction, it is not that hard to connect each theme with another, depends what everyone likes and what we decide to go with in the end.

Did you consider D20 modern system? It is a very simple system for any modern setting, with d20 fallout being more designed for post-apocalyptic scenarios.
Here it is in all of its simplicity. Now, that doesn't mean that it will be boring or simplified, this only means that there are many upgrades and expansions I can add with ease and modify existing content as much as we like to.

Interesting. My only table top RPG experience has been with shadowrun. It is good but complex. Yet, it's a dynamic setting for cyberpunk. From what I've seen Pathfinder is much less rule bound.
Shadowrun is a great system, really flexible where others are not.
I have a much simpler system that could replace pathfinder should we choose to, d20/d20 modern and all its iterations are very similar to both pathfinder and D&D.

Cyberpunk sounds fun, where do we go for race/class/etc?
As to the race/class problem, anything goes. Whichever thing you like, I can make it happen. If you wish to play as an incorporeal AI inside the net, we can do it, there are new possibilities and restrictions and it requires different roleplaying, as you would be almost-omniscient in your nature.
Really, there is no limitation, as long as it is not distasteful/crude to the point of rejecting the idea.

Depends on the system, however I don't want any of that class nonsense, everyone can create their custom class if they want to, if you prefer going with archetypes and a more solid description then for pathfinder-like modern classes look at this resource.

Each class is based on a single attribute (str, agi, int, cha, etc.), you can select a profession to this, which creates a functional inhabitant of the world.

To all interested:

Seeing as you mention pathfinder, the d20 modern system is an easy replacement and already comes with sci-fi adjustments to the mechanics, while everything is done in a similar fashion. (D20 attack roll, aDx damage roll, d20 skill roll, etc.)

For those reluctant to learn or adopt new things, there is nothing new to learn that wasn't used in pathfinder or D&D, besides new names, classes, weapons and so on, but this is setting-specific and not purely mechanical knowledge.

Okay, to move this forward -- what's our next move as players if we want to do this?

Okay, to move this forward -- what's our next move as players if we want to do this?
Responding to a few basic questions from GM would be enough while we wait for the second player to appear on stage.
1.
Seeing as we are going with the Cyberpunk system would you accept to play in d20 modern (modern pathfinder and d&d adaptation) or would you prefer to use Cyberpunk 2020 system (which offers many expanded mechanics and is fully designed to be used with our setting, on the other side it requires getting accustomed with the new rules)?

If we are to go with cp 2020 I haven't seen a complete resource online and most likely there would be the need to distribute the pdf core rulebook via sharing service.

Resources to the d20 modern are provided in the posts above and I can also provide pdf rulebooks and addendums if we decide on that route.

2.
Every player will have to complete their character history and information, this can be done regardless of the system we choose.

It can be sent via PM/mail.

In the character history I would like you to include:

-some key figures from your past (enemies, friends, family, partners, none)
-how have you become what you are at the beginning of the campaign
-what are your motivations
-how do you deal with life, your personal style

If you want to ask me as a GM to include a certain thing or to alter the mechanics/setting to allow for a specific character/item/event, I would like to have it mentioned in the message.

important: If you want to start the game as a friend of another PC you should discuss this with me and mention that you know one another in your personal history.

All the information you provide will be included in the setting and may or may not become a part of the story, even when you try to escape from your past.

3.
After we agree which system we choose, it will be a matter of preparing and equipping characters with which I will provide full help when required.
I can even create your character sheets, however to use the mechanics properly and to know the extent and range of abilities it is best to prepare ones character sheet by oneself

I do have a copy of CP2020 in PDF and have read the center "char creation" section, so I have a basic understanding of it.

I really don't know which system is better for the world and style of campaign, though. I figure d20 is pretty much just a generalization of the Pathfinder/AD&D system.

EDIT: Gawdammid, can Cog just play a person rather than someone's object of affection? What a mechanical sugar baby!

Update: Been through the d20 rules online that you supplied -- all pretty basic, it's all just a generalization/subset of the specific 3.5/Pathfinder rules I already know.

I think the d20 modern system is the most simple way to start. Then we can transfer everything to cp 2020 when you become more eager and motivated to expand the core mechanics.

In this spoiler I will link you to the complete d20 modern resources, for you to have a look at and aid you in the process of creating characters.
The file is double PW protected and the pw is this thread's exact not-capitalised name, when you find yourself having problems with decrypting pm for details.
d20 modern

There will be many improvements to the core mechanics I will introduce, these improvements are aimed at increasing combat/physical realism.

You start at level 1.
I encourage you to customise your class according to the following rules:
Take a look at your base class, every bonus from the selected base class is tradeable for another.

I will allow for creation of custom feats and talents after discussing the specifics with me, because the current set is lacking and restrictive.

Changes to mechanics
:
1.there is no maximal rank for skill bonuses

2.maximum hit die number is 4 and maximal hp for an unmodified human is 48, any number beyond that can either increase strenght or damage resistance with 6 hp increasing damage resistance by 1, or 12 hp increasing strenght by 1

3.you can attack a weak spot of your enemy, for humans it's their head, to cause critical damage. The difficulty of such a throw is the target's normal hit armor class times the critical damage multiplier.

example: for a 2d4, x2 on critical pistol attacking a 12 armor class opponent, you can declare a weak spot attack and you need to hit 24 armor class instead of the standard 12 to cause the equivalent effect of a critical strike, there is no need for a confirmation roll in this case.

exchange list:
you can only trade the selected stat once, unless otherwise stated

+1 attack bonus can be traded for:
-two +1 save bonuses in two different categories
-one +1 defense bonus
-one +2 hp bonus to the maximum of 48 hp total
-one +0.25 reputation bonus
-two +1 skill point bonuses

+3 attack bonus exchanges for +1 ability score bonus
+4 attack bonus can be traded for a talent
+5 attack bonus for a feat
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
one hit die can be traded for:
-three +1 save bonuses, can be put in any of the three categories
-one +2 defense bonus
-four +1 skill point bonuses
-one +2 reputation bonus
-two +1 ability score bonuses
-one talent or feat of choice
-one +3 attack bonus

any hit die traded decreases your maximum hit die by one to the minimum of 1, you cannot trade beyond your minimal value
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+1 defense bonus can be traded for:
-one +1 attack bonus, which can be further exchanged one time
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+2 rank skill bonus can be traded for:
-one +1 attack bonus, which can be further exchanged one time
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a feat can be traded for:
+one +3 attack bonus, which can be further exchanged one time
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a talent can be traded for:
-one +2 attack bonus, which can be further exchanged one time
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Money:
There will be no wealth check, there will be actual prices and money to spend, your starting wealth depends on your character background and needs to have a proper explanation.

I would allow for anything from 0 to 100 000 $ at the beginning depending on your story.
If you want to have the idea of the price of a given commodity, google that item and you get a rough estimate of its price. More precise values will be provided by me upon listing your equipment.

Guess what happens with your character after taking a good hit from a sniper rifle?
You get to roleplay your body hitting the floor :twisteddevil:.

Any easily modifiable and simple to use system goes.

CP 2020 is great when everyone knows the rules, I would experiment with it a bit later depending on the success of this endeavour.
The d20 sounds more practical.

As I said, you could be Liquid A.I./almost anything, describe what you want and I will tell you how this could work.

That's my reaction to any DnD based thing nowadays.

Definitely the main advantage is in the flexibility of participation.

The more I think about it the more it seems like a bad idea, there's balance issues, the way I'd actually play (being an omnipresent AI sounds cool but has me watching over your shoulder with my hands tied, or it wouldn't be fair) and being a robot would be too hard to roleplay properly, it's a very reactive role.

I think I'll just be myself, a blue collar worker with an interest in robotics.

Do I get to build robots if I explain where I buy all the parts, tools and what I do with them?
Eeehehehhehehhehehehehehehehe :D

I'm finding your post really confusing, since you are offering options that aren't even applicable to first level characters. (For example, how can I trade in a BAB for other things when a Fast class character has a +0 BAB?) Obviously each class is a little different, but at level 1 a lot of these options seem kind of irrelevant.

I also don't understand #2 regarding the 48 hit points / 4 HD. We're creating first level characters, so what is a 4HD character, and/or how on earth could anyone even have 48 hit points? I feel like I missed stuff somewhere, since it doesn't seem to mesh up.

Also, yes, the book is the Modern setting, but how do we translate it into Cyber? There's a bunch of fun stuff that isn't in the modern book that we'd need to know when designing our characters. (For example, I can take Computer Use to mirror jacking into things; but I'm not sure what the actual options/skills would be in a CP setting. Or in terms of cyborgs, mental upgrades, etc.)

I know better places to derail, I may be wrong. I understand you are willing to join the adventure then?

There are characters with +1 BAB at level 1, also these changes are relevant when you consider your progression to higher levels.

This means a lot when you think of the impact on the level 4 characters and higher. I provide this information to allow you to make an informed choice regarding the character creation.

The changes are provided as additional tools, so that you don't expect to maximise constitution and take d12 HD character and be able to eat rocket launcher missiles and also they allow you to modify your stats before we start and on every level up. I think considering what happens as your character progresses is quite relevant in most systems.

The changes are imbalanced and you will notice this imbalance in most NPC's you encounter in the world.
Also, yes, the book is the Modern setting, but how do we translate it into Cyber? There's a bunch of fun stuff that isn't in the modern book that we'd need to know when designing our characters. Computer usage is a silly name, it would mean that you can operate any console/electronic device you find after a successful check, with archaic and uncommon models being more difficult, but it doesn't deal with the actual task you have to perform. This requires knowledge programming or knowledge netrunning.

So computer use=use electronic device
actually doing something advanced there:
knowledge; programming;robotics;netrunning;cracking. etc.

Programming to create viruses, firewalls, understand code[read magic ;)]
Netrunning: find attack addresses, find information, use simpler virus/program scripts that you find on the net, etc.

Cracking: decompile, decode, decrypt, override, modify existing code, etc.

Robotics: program machines (more effective programming, but specific), construct/deconstruct machines, identify and understand machines, etc.

In all likelyhood you will need at least 3 skills to be a successful hacker:
computer use, knowledge programming and netrunning

The more specific the knowledge the easier the test I will give you but you will get less chances to use it.

I think I'll just be myself, a blue collar worker with an interest in robotics.

Do I get to build robots if I explain where I buy all the parts, tools and what I do with them?
Eeehehehhehehhehehehehehehehe :D
Of course, some relevant custom skills that could be useful:
craft; metalcrafting
knowledge; robotics, programming, automatic control, mechatronics

Most of these skills are synergic, meaning when you test one skill you would get a bonus from all the other related skills.

What's more you can start with some of your custom made automatons ready, you have a 100 000 budget after all. And we are talking more or less Ghost in the Shell - tech level, so there are fully-functional androids/hosts that cannot be discerned from humans without a scanning device.
I think I'll join if it's play-by-post. Probably going to be a Dedicated Hero, some sort of detective or investigator.
Sounds relevant. I will provide a more in-depth explanation about the skills each class/profession could use and their application in a few hours time. I will explain the areas you are interested in (Investigation, Programming, Robotics/A.I.)

You are all free to come up with your custom skills and descriptions, I will write the template that you can use as an alternative.

You'll need to explain what each one of those accounts for and come up new feats related to them. Currently I'm looking at playing a Smart Hero with the Builder and Gearhead feats, employed as Technician with a focus on Computer Use, Craft Electronic & Craft Mechanical.

"Metal crafting" sounds like metallurgy to me and that would require access to a foundry and it's an incredibly specific skill, sure being able to make custom alloys would be nice but I doubt we're going to get that involved and I honestly don't know that much about metallurgy, that's what material scientists do, not engineers.

Robotics, Mechatronics and Automatic Control all sound like the same thing to me, I suppose the latter could be Artificial Intelligence (any software that performs targeting, navigation, automated motions, cracking, etc) but Robotics and Mechatronics are quite literally the same thing and they encompass both Craft Electronic & Mechanical.

Most of these skills are synergic, meaning when you test one skill you would get a bonus from all the other related skills.
Why reinvent the wheel? The original three and repair should suffice.

What's more you can start with some of your custom made automatons ready, you have a 100 000 budget after all. And we are talking more or less Ghost in the Shell - tech level, so there are fully-functional androids/hosts that cannot be discerned from humans without a scanning device.
Assuming that's achieved by growing a biological dermis over a biocompatible artificial facia how am I supposed to calculate how much said facia and dermis costs?

I think we should stick to near future, once it gets to GitS level we may as well be talking about an alien planet for all we'll be able to intuitively know about it and making robots is all about taking existing technologies and combining them to make something new, I need very specific details for that, in a GitS world I don't even know where to start.

My impression is that you have everything mapped in your head but don't realize how much we don't know what is in your head, and it greatly diminishes our ability to make wise char build choices. It's not as big a deal when one is playing a straight game system, because we can just read the book; but this is pretty much cobbled together from all over the place... the guidebook isn't even the right world setting. The same game system also can play differently based on the GM, so we need to understand what you think is important / how you will approach things.

Computer usage is a silly name, it would mean that you can operate any console/electronic device you find after a successful check, with archaic and uncommon models being more difficult, but it doesn't deal with the actual task you have to perform. Thank you. And that is the level of play detail we actually need across the board to generate an effective character. Sorry, but you're gonna have to write stuff up or at least answer a ton of questions.

So we're only going to level 4? You didn't answer that question. You said our max hit dice are level 4 or 48 HP. Confused.

No, your progression will happen normally until level 5. On your level 5 you will no longer be getting hit dice hp on levelup. This means there are two hard limits, either you are limited by the 4hd maximum, or you have 1d12 hit die and +5 constitution bonus (for example) and at level 3 this would yield 36+15 hp which would be limited by the maximum 48 hp and your excess hp going into different stats/dr/str.

After you reach either of these limits you won't be getting more hp: be it from constitution, hit dice, progression bonuses. You will still be able to increase it through mods feats and custom talents.
I will be now working on converting skills to the cyberpunk setting and explaining it.

Thank you. And that is the level of play detail we actually need across the board to generate an effective character. Sorry, but you're gonna have to write stuff up or at least answer a ton of questions.
I think I will both answer questions and write stuff in the end.

Okay, that makes sense now and is different from other systems I've played. Thanks!

I was giving examples of the possible skills you might look at, obviously that's how you can create a functional character too, after all you can create your custom skills here.
Yes, I think there will be a single robotics skill, I will allow for taking any specific scientific skill for anyone interested in excelling in some focused way.

Why reinvent the wheel? The original three and repair should suffice.
These were my propositions, you can order it your way and we can arrange so it works.
Assuming that's achieved by growing a biological dermis over a biocompatible artificial facia how am I supposed to calculate how much said facia and dermis costs?

I will prepare a generalised price estimate for you.
I think we should stick to near future, once it gets to GitS level we may as well be talking about an alien planet for all we'll be able to intuitively know about it and making robots is all about taking existing technologies and combining them to make something new, I need very specific details for that, in a GitS world I don't even know where to start.
Alright, I was having similar concerns. I think in this cb setting robots, androids and IT will be far more advanced but not yet GitS level, while all other will look pretty similar to nowadays, with conventional weaponry, corporational society, etc.

To note, most of the skills are fine as they are, you can actually use craft(mechanical) and craft(electronic) and knowledge(robotics) and this would be enough

I will create another thread to list and discuss all the mechanics so that here we could mostly finish the characters and background.

Anyway, like I mentioned before, I've been building a Fast character (DEX + INT as two high attributes), likely an Investigator profession, with jack-in abilities, motorcycle skillz, and likely gunnery as my "combat" skill. Plus whatever other assorted goodies.

What kind of attribute buy are we using? The "25 point, stats start at 8" that appears in the rules?

------

I thought this CP2020 discussion was interesting (especially about flaws in the system, but also about what a typical CP adventure ends up being like).

You have point buy 26, in other words: 18/10. Also you take full hit dice hp.

I found the "listen up you primitive screwheads" resource, I think it is an interesting well of experiences and gives a gist in the "feel" of cp.

Expect a post on pricing today, I am still reading on prices and averages, actually I made a standard deviation and 4 grades of availability but finding the manufacturing costs takes time. I dislike this wealth check system and I will try to move everything to normal prices in a translating manner having an average price for the purchase dc, with a degree of customisation.

For example d20 modern sells FN Minimi for 23+23 DC while offering GE M134 for 24+23 DC, while in reality the price gap is around 7k for minimi to 125k+ for m134.

I am waiting for your character history, this stuff is much more important than finishing the character sheets/mechanics at this moment, I have provided guidelines as to the few points I would like to be included in the message.

Since I'm probably going to be playing a detective that might make sense.

Yeah, I'm still confused as to how all this works. On one hand, we're encouraged to build our own character; on the other hand, there's this system that kind of confines our choices of roles and skills and all this.

I was going through a lot of source material tonight in the CyberPunk realm and saw the Covert Specialist role which has more connection with what I guess I want to do. Basically I want to be capable of physically getting into places where people don't expect me to be, whether it's to plant or steal items, collect information, jack into places I'm not supposed to be, etc. And basically for hire, when I'm not off on my own quest.

If you're a straight detective, maybe you'd be more apt to be looking for me than buddying up (doh).

Thinking maybe I'd do better to work in tandem with a real hardcore netrunner -- I can develop some skill sure, but might do better planting rogue data transmitters and stuff in situations where the runner needs a direct line into the system.

EDIT: Sent my character background to Blarraun. The relevant part is that I'm an infiltrator who works a lot of jobs for street and even high-end clients (as jobs are arranged for me). So if there's a way for that to intersect, go for it. What kind of detective are you?

That's why you are encouraged to create new ones. When you show it to me I can make it work with the system and I will know what you need.

If nothing is created, I step in to fill the more obvious gaps and put things that some of you could have seen otherwise, maybe that's partially what you see.

Do you mean the one from the firestorm stormfront (page 93)?
[BIMG]http://puu.sh/aqcrF/e66e251d94.jpg[/BIMG]?
I can create a custom class and pm you the details, it would be based on that page. You could do it yourself too trying to convert it and comparing it to a standard d20 modern character.

Whenever you mention something you would like to include, link me the resources or describe the specifics so that I can grasp it.
If you're a straight detective, maybe you'd be more apt to be looking for me than buddying up (doh).
Still, you could be his contact and shady break-in specialist for his more complicated investigations, while he could trade you some information or protect you from the law enforcement when required.

Alright, I am happy to look through all that. Tell me about that covert specialist and whether you would like to see it converted so that you can have it.

edit#1:This is going to be a prestige class after you meet the requirements. I will convert it because it is interesting to have.

edit#2: I will upload all cyberpunk 2020 resources for your convenience, so that you can look through the real cp-designed stuff and find elements that you want converted to d20.

Yeah, that was the thing I stumbled on first, then honed in more on the idea for my character -- since she's more of a specialist in a few areas -- and sent you my character background last night (which includes a description of it).

Still, you could be his contact and shady break-in specialist for his more complicated investigations, while he could trade you some information or protect you from the law enforcement when required.

That sounds plausible. :)

Thanks. I have the CP2020 pdf and the Stormfront pdf I downloaded last night, but that's all.

So what class is the CP2020 equivalent of an insane voodoo shaman who calls upon the Almighty Power of Kellogg's Corn Flakes in battle?

I actually would like to play a batshit crazy Chaotic Neutral aligned spiritual leader in the year 2020 :cat:

.... only if I can steal your shit.

---

I think there's a way to apply the classes to come up with something like that. For example, the Rockerboy role allows for buku social bonuses over groups. So something could be eked out.

I refuse to play a class called Rockerboy.

But it even fits your initials!
RedBaron = RockerBoy
Your typing says no, your name says yes

I mean, if you want to be off your rockerboy, that's your problem, but srsly....

You really think so? :o

I was more thinking of being a cult leader who uses a dancer/prostitution ring as a spy and assassin network.

I have had prophets/leaders on my cyberpunk/modern sessions before, one ended up turning all town children agains their parents and causing indirect manslaughter, the other died while being brainwashed by the A.I. while dreaming of Ganja and Rhasta-god.

The charismatic hero would be your choice for the politician and a spiritual leader, speaking in terms of d20.

CP 2020 classes are practically irrelevant as we are not going with cp 2020 for the time being.

@Blarraun:

Looked at revised versions of the skill list in CyberPunk, Calliope's skillset as an Infiltrator (or whatever we call it) would be something like this:

- Acrobatics + Climbing
- Stealth
- Evade/Track/Hide
- Security Tech (electronic & lockpick)
- Sleight of Hand
- Awareness
- Handgun
- System Knowledge
- some type of investigative skill
+ whatever basic level of tech/electronics she needs to run any gear and get inside a location and back out successfully

Other skills of use
- Motorcycle (travel)
- Persuasion & Fast Talk (
- Streetwise / Street Survival (due to her past)

The Covert Operative role we were discussing earlier has a special role bonus of 1/2 Level added to Hide/Evade, Stealth, Awareness, and Init, I think.

Anyway, I could use your feedback on this, as I'm not sure how many points I'd have to put in various skills to be effective and my SP allotment currently is only around 28-32 which doesn't give much flex. So we need to work together to come up with a suitable skillset (in case I missed some or we can merge some) that I can put enough points into to be effective at level 1.

What does this mean?
You have 26 points to spend for your abilities which directly translates to taking a single 18 and filling rest of your spots with 10s.

Look at the dnd 3.5 calculator for help in detemining your scores.
http://plothook.net/tools/pointbuy.htm

Full hit dice mean, that you take maximum hp bonus from the hit dice assigned to your class. For a dedicated hero it is 1d6, so you start with 6 hp +/- any constitution score bonus/malus.

edit 1:it will take 6 hours to upload cp2020
