I spent my day with an old friend I haven't spoken to in a year, and also found out she's INTP. A wonderful Coffee and Sandwiches day!

Watching a video of comedian Hannibal Burgess perform a stand up routine. Rather hilarious.

I dropped a ton of scalding water on my foot and was resorted to hopping up and down like a monkey for a while. Only unevental thing I could think of.

I woke up, rolled over, checked the time, and went back to sleep.

The great thing about being nocturnal is sleeping in during the afternoon.

I went to see a shrink for the first time in a long time at the university clinic and was asked by a post doc if he could video my sessions for a case study.

Today is my last day in what has become an increasingly shitty workplace. Start new job on Monday.

Got really inspired in my philosphy A2; first time I've ever actually enjoyed an exam "Wittgenstein's Language games are the best method for discussing God meaningfully"

BOOM aced it, plus I really thought I was going to fail.

Oh, and being drunk for the remainder of the day as a celebration. That was nice :D

Microwaved my debit card and moved all my cash to a new bank. Take that old bank who charged me $20 in unannounced fees.

Is microwaving a credit card a scary adult term I don't know that does not litterally mean putting a credit card in a microwave? Or did you actually microwave it in which case I really want to try melting various things in microwaves now.

uh-oh. Here comes the next obsession. :elephant:

ps: just lost my elephant smiley virginity. That's made my day.

I totally physically microwaved it.

Although ivory soap and CDs are what got me started, I recommend light bulbs, ketchup packets, and potato chip bags. Just make sure everything is WELL ventilated and you have a fire extinguisher on hand (although microwaving a burning flame produces plasma, which is a quantum leap of awesome above fire). It's great to watch, just don't breathe it in.

FYI, you can do a YouTube search for "Is it a good idea to microwave" and get videos of about 500 different things courtesy of a few specific brave souls who sound like they're from the Philly area.

Also, being partly responsible for someone losing their elephant smiley virginity is a definite honorable mention.

Thank you for the information. I think I will initiate with a piece of plastic such as a bottle top. I bet a sheet of paper does something pretty interesting too. Best to start small and work my way up.

It isn't that big of a deal but as I was leaving the student services office someone opened the door for me even though they didn't really need to open the door. That doesn't really happen anymore, I was really taken back, but the small sincere gesture really made my day.
