Just that. What do you think of Mozilla's latest and greatest... I must say that I like it, as I'm currently using it...

Ehh I was just thinking about this. I didn't use v.2 because it was terribly bloated, but I've read that's been fixed. The best thing is that they've finally added color management (even if its off by default, and incurs a performance penalty)... so now Apple is not alone in the battle to fix Microsoft's mess that is color standards on web browsers...
This release of FF3 has made people aware of color management issues but without understanding everything, so the ignorant majorities still say its worthless...

I am using Opera 9.5 since my distribution (Debian GNU/Linux 4.0) doesn't have the newest Firefox in its package repositories and i don't think it worth enough to install it outside of normal package management. Also i find Opera since long much more comfortable thatn Mozilla/Firefox. I do use Firefox 2 for it is better at javascript and flash, so when i need that i use Firefox, but most of the time i use Opera. But this is just a question of comfort and familiarization. (And Opera is, at my system, faster and kinder on ressuorces, which does matter at my old computer :-P)

That's one of the major improvements of Firefox 3. It's faster, takes less memory, and is generally much less resource-intensive than Firefox 2.

Yeah. If you like Opera for those reasons, you should try FF3...

I have not yet taken the time to see the how it works. Though right now I am using Opera 9.5 and am enjoying it.

I just installed it. So far, no problems.
That's about all I ask out of a browser. I probably should ask for more.

I installed it the other day and yesterday got all the addons I need... and its still slow, not as much as ff2, but slow nevertheless.
I have to get an addon for a button to reopen closed tabs, other for a speed-dial, other addon for mouse gestures, etc. All those features are built-in in Opera and its damn fast. Maybe ff3 is faster without any addons but its not such a great browser without them, and when you install all the ones you need and you have 6-7 tabs open it eats up resources and doesnt deliver any speed in return. I hope they continue improving it, but Im sticking with Opera for now.

Woah, hold on. Make sure you need all these addons before you install them. Yeah, you need addons for speed dial and mouse gestures, but FF3 comes with an excellent reopen-tabs feature built in. Firefox 3 actually has a lot of features built in. Make sure it isn't there before you get an addon for it.

Mouse gestures? Seems a bit... pointless...
