View Full Version : Drop Shadow Text Style?

Dear Ragnar,

While you're performing upgrades to the forum - is there any chance of getting a shadow feature added to the text editor?

If you noticed, I use a blue font color that is somewhat difficult to read on the lighter forum-themes. If I went darker, it would be hard to read against the dark forum styles. If drop-shadows were available, it would be possible to make it work well for either.

Thanks you.

P.S. When advanced text-editing, does anyone else now have a strangely bright interface?

I'll look around vBulletin.com and vBulletin.org. Provided it's available and doesn't annoy anyone, that seems really possible. I don't know if the editor box is brighter; but I sure can see the right side is misaligned, extending beyond the edge. Presumably that's intentionable.

Didn't want to make a new thread for this so I'll just drop it here.

Is it possible to increase the size limit for avatars and signatures?

Overall size or data size?

Data size, I would hope... It certainly can be difficult to reach the file size requirements sometimes.... (or am I thinking of document attachments?)

I've noticed the images which are 200 pixels wide alter the forum's format a bit. I'm definitely OCD about things when I say this bugs me...

If I were designing the site, I'd cap the width at 175 pixels so the avatars don't stretch the layout. The height limitation could be higher, though...

P.S. What's up with the Avatars no longer being center justified?

Overall size or data size?

Data size,yep.

It's troublesome to compress files, especially when it destroys the image quality.

Is there a hope of a drop-shadow style becoming available, or is it not available at all?
