I'm new. I think I might be an INTP. I thought I was an INFJ but realized I was too much of a douche to be one.
My name really isn't Lupe Jones. I just thought it was a cool name.
Hope to ... (see? read posts?) you guys later.

Hey lupe. Hope you've had your shots. We're all mostly rabid.

I'm a bit lazy and extremely tired as of now. I guess I just gotta risk it :D

Welcome, hope you enjoy it here.
And Morgoth is especially rabid, obviously. More so to newcomers, I've noticed...

Morgoth is just suffereing from an ingrown penis. He's nothing to worry about. And he is far nastier to the people he is familiar with than he is to the newcomers.
I, on the other hand, am the big forum teddy bear here to warmly greet everyone. And I greet you, lupejones.

It's nice to meet you, Lupe. You'll find a lot of interesting characters here. I posted my first message a couple of days ago, and strangely, did not receive any responses. Maybe I need an attention-grabbing avatar.

Don't touch who, Fukyo?
And hello truthseeker72, sorry everyone is so rude, here. I can't help but wonder what happened to truthseekers 1-71. What have you done with them?

Well, clearly, they found the truth they were looking for... but whoever told them must have had to kill them.

you guys make me feel special.

Actually, "72" is my birth year. I suspect that puts me well above the median age in this forum. I like that, though. Most people my age are too focused on day-to-day business to seek universal truths.

You are special, welcome to the disillusioned reality & insanity.
@-truthseeker72
Welcome, here we remain completely unfocused and get nothing done, but we understand the nature of reality much better.

Welcome lupejones. We are indeed rabid here. Even the small fluffy animals here will attempt to gnaw through your spine while you aren't looking.

I'm not rabid! That foam coming out of my mouth is from....is from....well never you mind what it is from!
Welcome to BOTH newcomers.

Hello, I'm old and decrepit.
These nice youngsters around here let me "Hang" with them
(whatever that means... Ooh! Is it time for my medication already...?)

This talk about age makes me wonder what is the "ideal" age to be an INTP? I figure that the awkwardness must be really acute for a teen INTP, when social acceptance is paramount (at least it was for me). In my thirties, people are more tolerant of my eccentricities, but I'm so busy that I rarely find time to indulge my "truthseeking." In my twenties, however, I generally enjoyed myself. Any thoughts?
P.S. Da Blob, your new avatar looks good.

Welcome to both of you. We're insane, but it's a good kind of insane. It makes us feel good and stuffs.
Oh, and whatever you see in the Madness Club, don't hold it against me. That is ENTIRELY Fleur's fault. –.–;;

Thanks. Which particular Truth are you seeking?
Per age, I suppose it varies. Erikson's Lifetime Developmental Model suggests that successful negotiation of the Identity crisis of Stagnation versus Generation should be the tops...
Seeing as I'm still Stagnating, I can't speak from experience...

I'd say being younger is ideal. If people cannot accept the fact that kids will be kids, then they are judgmental bastards. Every time I call someone judgmental, it makes me laugh knowing how ironic it is.
I could be wrong but I just hate it when everyone expects you to grow up so fast and you miss out on your childhood.

In most situations, I find myself searching for the truth that lies behind the haze of emotion and overheated rhetoric. Perception is not reality, reality is reality!

Yes, Especially when your Personality is already 'Adult-ish',
a person just has a limited Window of Opportunity
to be "Young & Dumb"

But are we truly adultish? We are certainly intellectually mature, and have a serious facade, but as can be seen with characters such as noidiots, morgoth, LOR, etc, we can be very childish at the same time.

I think every INTP must hold great contradictions... or is it just me with internal irreconcilable differences?

It is just You!
Someone ask me how old I was the other day, (I think it was Dr. D.)
I replied 80 mentally, 50 physically and 12 emotionally...

I have the same thing.
right brain vs. left brain
cold analysis vs. freewheeling artsiness
Generally an N vs. T dichotomy.

Hello lupe. Are you loopy? (why of course you are, you're INTP!) :)
I came a bit late to the welcome wagon (stupid P), but welcome! :) I'm the resident extravert here. I'm also in my 30s (well 30 to be exact but 31 this year). Strangely I really like it here with all the young people (but I didn't fit in when I was young...go figure). It doesn't reallly matter to me what age people are, or anything else about them, I just enjoy all the creativity and yes, the evilness, here.
Chocky.
