I subscribe to Nic Askews weekly 'thunks' - short (2minute) thoughts to music that move me and sometimes haunt me during the week ahead. Here's his latest (http://www.soulbiographies.com/category/behind-the-film-blog/thunk-audio-series/) and an excerpt from it:

"I’ve noticed that when we dream of life together, the world that already exists around us emerges in a different light.
And in that light, we appear to be sitting bang in the middle of what we’re looking for. Already. Perhaps that is freedom."

In some respects, this describes where I'm at, at the moment.

What an exquisite way to share a message.

I would agree, we are captive to our possessions and dreams.

I wrote an article a few years back about the pitfalls of "living the dream", that seems related. Though he said things with such bare honesty and economy. But maybe I'll dig up my mishmash of thoughts.

Maybe. ;)

And are you hankering to escape (dissolve) rather than redecorate your cell? Perhaps you already have?

I'd love to see your mishmash though, what little I have seen of you would suggest that they are anything but.;)

In my own case, the door is open and a decision must be made. But first I've got to get over the shock :phear::)

I'm trying to leave the cell, but too many assholes are blocking the way out.

Edit: Nice sound bite, by the way. British accent, yay!
